Glenn Ashton, who writes interesting books and used to be a banker and a lawyer, had more fun writing novels than wrestling with finance and the law, and so turned his hand to his hobby. Glenn Ashton is the penname of Glenn van Schalkwyk.
He has written The Euros: Notre Dame Point Zero, a thriller about a band of faceless, nameless men taking women and children hostage in the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris; Obelisk Seven, a thriller about obelisks and global warming (co-authored with his wife Loraine Lundquist); Silent Lips (a thriller about New York under siege from a bioengineered virus); Cupid’s Crescent, a thriller about bankers and kidnappings; Your Purrfect Way to Publish & Promote Your Amazon & Kindle Books (setting out a Promotion Plan for self-published authors, using social media topromote their books); a play (The Theft of Souls, the trial of Lawrence of Arabia); a collection of modern proverbs for the 21st century (Modern Proverbs); and children’s books (the LittteTown series).
